Vacuum switch

A Vacuum switch for a pellet stove, also called a pressure switch or pressostat, is the stove's safety switch for the draft. It monitors the negative pressure created by the flue gas extractor in the combustion chamber, and if it falls below the limit, it stops the pellet feed so that flue gas cannot enter the room. An alarm for insufficient negative pressure therefore means that the draft is too weak, and the switch is far from always the actual fault.

The Vacuum switches are adapted to the individual brands and are available for, among others, Aduro, Cadel, Palazzetti, MCZ, Thermorossi and Extraflame, and the vacuum hose is available both as a universal version and for MCZ.
